Our Change Management processes are designed to allow REC arrangements to evolve quickly, accurately, and in the ways that are objectively best for the industry as a whole.
A further 19 Category 3 changes have been progressed through the Category 3 Change Process. We have processed 26 issues in the same period, 22 of which have been amalgamated into four Change Proposals.
With a new way of working and more emphasis on the Code Manager to progress change, there has been feedback from stakeholders on their level of involvement and our communications.
We held a change process review workshop in December 2021 to review where the process could be improved.
The updates from the workshop were presented to the Change Panel in February 2022. The following actions were agreed and have either been implemented or are progressing:
Additionally, the Cross Code Steering Group meets on a monthly basis to support cross-code working. Initially this was via monthly meetings but this is being phased to virtual collaboration using the Portal. The group can meet as required to discuss specific changes, but the intent is for the group to work offline.
