We explore the process for casting votes online when decisions are needed outside of meetings
When a vote is required, the Committee Secretary will create a new vote within the relevant Committee Workspace. As a voting Committee Member, you'll be notified of the creation of a vote in a few ways:
You will be able to cast your vote by visiting the 'Voting' tab within the Committee Workspace. You can indicate your decision using the - and can change your vote until it closes. You can also see how your fellow Committee Members vote.
We ask you to justify your vote through completing a free text field. Your fellow Committee Members can see this justification unless you choose to mark as confidential, in which case only the Code Manager can view.
Once a vote is closed, you'll be notified via the Portal and by email.
